In this tutorial we are going to create a 88x31 animated button in PS and AS3.
Open a 88x 31 new image and fill it with any color, texture or a picture.I'm using a pink texture.



Now we are going to write our site name by using this font:04b_24 in size 8pt.



Now we are going to add a 1 px black stroke to the text. And some inside stroke to the background image.



Merge all the layers.
Now we are going to open animation shop 3.And copy the button we made and paste it on AS3.
Return to the PS and with the pen toll and 1px brush we are going to give color to the first letter. My image is zoom for you can see how to do it.



Copy it and paste it on AS like this:



Repeat that step with the all or some of the letters.
When you end, go to file>>save as:



And you will get something like this:
